On February 16, 2010, a spirited group of North Star Fund supporters showed off their slickest dance moves and raised funds to go directly to New York City's most effective grassroots groups leading the movement for equality, economic justice and peace. The party had originally been scheduled for the day that turned out be the Blizzard of 2010. It snowed again on February 16th, but they braved the snow to turn the heat up for social justice.

The Dance Competition

Competitors were selected prior to the event and competed for the judges' "votes" starting at 9pm. Competitors danced in one of three categories: Salsa/Latin, Disco/Hustle, and Hip-Hop/Urban.
