Mission

Grassroots voices are key to democratic participation and to the creation of just and sustainable urban policies. However, the technicallanguage of urban policy and economic development can be opaque. Center for Urban Pedagogy collaborates with schools, community- based organizations and policymakers to train local stakeholders to understand and propose alternatives to economic development plans.
