The subprime and predatory lending crisis has made it difficult, often impossible, for low-income people to retain their homes and assets. High-cost subprime mortgage lending is disproportionately concentrated in lower-income neighborhoods, which are the ones most impacted by the foreclosure crisis. CHANGER’s 200 members are homeowners working to end abusive mortgage lending practices in low and moderate income communities.
