Tensions on the North Shore of Staten Island are increasing between youth from different immigrant and ethnic groups. Immigration status, limited English proficiency and low incomes make it difficult for immigrant youth to remain in school. This youth-led group organizes immigrant and other youth to to create racial justice, defuse violence, and expand their opportunities for education and jobs.
