La Peña del Bronx is a multicultural and multiracial community movement seeking to empower in the South Bronx the most marginalized groups in North American society. Through educational workshops, cultural and political events, hip hop festivals, the Bruckner Day Laborers Project and campaigns of solidarity with immigrants, La Peña seeks to promote cross-cultural understanding amongst communities in the South Bronx and highlight social concerns of the area.
