Presenting the new fellowship

On December 4th, 2018, Community Food Funders (CFF) announced the new Seeding Power Fellowship at a funder briefing hosted by Surdna Foundation and co-sponsored by Philanthropy New York and Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Funders (SAFSF).

40 people attended in-person and an additional 20 watched online as Adam Liebowitz described the origins of and plans for the 18-month cohort-based food justice fellowship for nonprofit leaders in New York City, the Hudson Valley and Long Island. There were also presentations about the new Castanea Fellowship and HEAL Food Alliance’s School of Political Leadership.

The fellowship project launches in January, 2019. To learn more about Community Food Funders, visit the CFF website.
