Lisa is the Director of Community Development at Amalgamated Bank where ensures that the Bank meets the needs of all of the community members it serves, including low and moderate income individuals.

Before joining Amalgamated Bank, Lisa served as a Field Organizer in New York State for the Obama-Biden 2012 campaign. She previously worked in the banking sector for ten years. Lisa holds a B.A. from Harvard University in Astronomy and Astrophysics.

As a donor activist, Lisa is an ardent supporter of social justice organizations such as the Southern Poverty Law Center and MoveOn.org.

“Inequalities exist, but we don’t have to be bystanders. By engaging donor activists, North Star Fund gives people many opportunities to become involved in improving the lives of New Yorkers.”
