North Star Fund Grantee Lunch & Learn: Taking Even Better Pictures
December 18 @ 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
- Tired of taking pictures after an event and then not seeing anything that captures the essence of your community?
- Want to take more compelling pictures of your actions and the work of your organization?
Sometimes following a few easy-to-remember rules can lead to better photographs that you’ll be eager to share.
Come join Neha Gautam, whose photography has been featured on the cover of the North Star Fund Action Report three separate times. She teaches photography to students at BRIC Arts Media and has been documenting social justice activism in New York for years. She is also currently working on her MFA in film direction.
We’ll provide lunch and Neha’s expertise. You don’t need a fancy camera to take better pictures with the skills she’ll be sharing, and we’ll be taking pictures as part of the lunch.
Please bring your fully charged smartphone or digital camera to the session.
Space is limited. This workshop is for North Star Fund grantees only. Grantees may send either one or two participants. Please specify when you sign up using the form below. Note: photo identification required to enter the building
