Donate to the Communities United for Police Reform Major Donor Campaign

Communities United for Police Reform (CPR) is an unprecedented campaign to end discriminatory and abusive policing practices in New York. CPR has played a key role in building power to advance racial justice and police accountability in New York City during its short history with accomplishments that include:

  • Winning historic police accountability legislation such as the Right to Know Act, executive order establishing a special prosecutor for police killings in NY state, and the Community Safety Act
  • Building a movement that decreased stop-and-frisks in NYC
  • Organizing with our member and partner groups to hold police accountable for harm—as in the cases of Ramarley Graham, Eric Garner and Saheed Vassell
Changing the public narrative on policing and safety

Your gift to our 3rd annual major donor fundraising campaign will support CPR as we build power New York and beyond to make systemic changes to end discriminatory and abusive policing.
