For 36 years, North Star Fund has helped make justice happen in New York City. In our 2015 Annual Report, we invite you to read and celebrate the victories made possible with your support. Inside you will find stories of victories, ranging from workers’ rights and housing justice, to school lunch, climate change and emerging philanthropic leadership.
Together we have shifted the conversation about social justice city-wide, putting economically disadvantaged New Yorkers, people of color, and low-wage workers at the center of policy conversations. And we are seeing huge victories! As a community, North Star Fund grassroots and donor activists are making change, and building a New York Metro Region that works for all of us.
