Helen Stillman profile picture

As the donor program director, Helen Stillman leads our donor organizing efforts and our Giving Project program. She manages an annual calendar of networking, information sharing, and leadership development opportunities that inspire and motivate New Yorkers from all backgrounds to support grassroots social change.

Helen grew up in Seattle, Washington, where she got involved in LGBTQ youth organizing as a high school student. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Smith College and also holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Before moving to New York, Helen worked with LGBTQ youth in her hometown.

Helen is a member and former NYC chapter leader of Resource Generation, an organization working with young people with financial wealth to leverage resources and privilege for social change. It was her work with Resource Generation that got Helen interested in progressive philanthropy and community funding models.
