Jodi Doff

Operations Manager

Jodi Doff joined the North Star Fund staff in early 2012. As operations manager, she is responsible for managing our conference room facilities rental, and keeping our office running smoothly.

After a successful career in magazine publishing, Jodi wanted to focus her energy on compassion and quality of life issues. She comes to North Star Fund from the Social Media Marketing department of Green Chimneys, a non-profit educational organization recognized as a leader in animal-assisted therapy located in Putnam County. Jodi has a history of working and volunteering with marginalized populations in harm reduction and street outreach programs such The Positive Health Project, Covenant House, and FROST’d, where she worked as Data Manager.

Her work with children took her to the NYC public schools as a one-on-one tutor, as well as the 52nd Street project—a unique mentoring program aimed at improving the quality of life for the children of the Hell’s Kitchen area of New York. She brings a unique mix: one part deadline-driven corporate organizational skills, one part crisis management, and two parts heart.

Jodi has a B.A. in English Language Arts from Hunter College and an M.F.A in Creative Writing from Lesley University.
