Community Care Guidelines – Community Events

As we return to hosting in-person events, here are the guidelines we have discussed and approved. These were approved in January 2024 and are active until updated here.

  • Test & Be Aware. We are asking everyone who is joining an event to self-test within 24 hours of the event, and provide evidence of a negative test upon arrival. (A photo of the test will suffice.) To save yourself time and stress,  please administer a test at home and get a negative result prior to your arrival. We’ll have rapid tests available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Wear a Mask. We ask that you wear a mask for the event while indoors when you’re not actively eating or drinking. We’ll have some masks available at the event.
  • Seek Consent – Refrain from hugs and handshakes without asking. We always recommend getting a “yes”  before touching anyone.
  • Be Mindful – Do not attend if you are unwell. Please do not attend if you get a positive test result or if you are not feeling well in any way. We will miss you and look forward to welcoming you at a future event!
