Francis Madi Cerrada is a storyteller and creative with a background in organizing and policy. She is from Caracas, Venezuela, and is currently based in Queens, New York. Her nonprofit/government experience includes working with institutions like the New York Immigration Coalition, Arab American Association of New York, Houston Health Department, South Bronx Rising Together, Herstory Writers Workshop, Restaurant Workers Community Foundation y el Hispanic Federation. Francis is also a playwright, poet and producer currently developing several plays. Her creative practice explores the dynamics of intersectionality, migration/movement, Queerness, family and love.
