Morna Ha

Morna has close to 20 years working in nonprofit and government at the local and national level. She seeks to build organizations and strategies that strengthen the social justice movement.
Morna is grounded in her experiences as a community organizer and advocate with the National Korean American Service and Education Consortium, later serving as its executive director. She has worked for the City of New York, the US House of Representatives, and local community development efforts. She has spent the last 8 years focused on the education sector, developing strategies that center the voices of students and educators of color and continues to be an advocate for Asian American Studies ever since her days as a student activist. Morna is the daughter of Korean immigrants, born and raised in New York City, and holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA from Dartmouth College.
