Playdate Protest: Tell Whole Foods/Amazon #NoTech4Ice!

Whole Foods, our neighborhood grocery store, is a storefront of Amazon, which provide the core technology used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) to track, detain, and separate immigrant families.

On Nov 1st! Join Your Neighbors to Tell Whole Foods/Amazon to STOP tearing families apart!
At 4pm, gather at J.J. Byrne- Washington Playground in Brooklyn, 3rd St & 5th Ave
At 4:45pm we start the Parade from the playground to Whole Foods on 3rd St & 3rd Ave carrying ofrendas, holding puppets, with dance and music!
The program starts at 5pm outside Whole Foods and at 5:30pm we’ll deliver flowers and petitions to the store manager.

This playdate protest is organized by Hand in Hand, Make the Road New York, New York Communities for Change, Jews for Racial & Economic Justice, Carroll Gardens Association members and allies, and endorsed by the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Close the Camps NY coalition, and other local groups.
