Anisah Sabur

Anisah Sabur is an activist, organizer, and advocate, who has been organizing in coalition for the past 17 years. She has built coalitions throughout communities impacted by the criminal legal system and supports impacted women and girls in leadership roles, through legislative advocacy.

Prior Advisory Committees:

  • The Survivor Justice Project tracking the implementation of the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act Law.
  • The New York Women’s Foundation Justice Advisory Committee. Helping to shape conversations in philanthropy and leadership of directly impacted women and communities.
  • The NoVo Foundation Move to End Violence

Anisah holds an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from LaGuardia Community College, in 2015.
